Cameras

Which cameras does FujiSims work with?

The Fujifilm X-E5 and X100VI. We add a model only once it has been tested on a real camera, so others aren't supported yet. Tell us which camera you'd like next.

My camera isn't found over the USB cable

This is almost always one camera setting. On the camera, open the connection settings and set:

  • CONNECTION SETTING → USB RAW CONV./BACKUP RESTORE (not USB CARD READER)
  • USB POWER SUPPLY/COMM SETTING → AUTO

Then turn the camera on, plug it into your iPhone's USB-C port, and try again. Use a USB-C cable that carries data, not a charge-only cable.

Bluetooth transfers fail or are refused
  • Unplug the USB cable. The camera refuses Bluetooth transfers while a cable is connected.
  • Make sure Bluetooth is turned on in the camera's menu, and that FujiSims is allowed to use Bluetooth in your iPhone's Settings → FujiSims.
  • Each transfer needs a fresh connection. If one drops, wait a few seconds and try again.
  • If another app is connected to the camera over Bluetooth, close it first.
Will FujiSims change anything else on my camera?

It only changes the recipe slots you choose to write. It doesn't touch your photos, your memory card or the camera's firmware. When it uses Bluetooth it has to send the camera's whole settings file back, but it changes only the slots you edited and leaves everything else as the camera had it.

How do I undo a change?

Open the Backups tab, choose a backup taken before the change, and restore one slot or all seven. Backing up and restoring are always free.

The camera itself has no undo, so back up before you write. FujiSims reminds you if you haven't backed up yet. Over Bluetooth it also keeps a copy of the camera's complete settings each time it reads them.

FujiSims Pro and your subscription

What does Pro include?

Pro lets you write recipes to all seven slots, C1–C7, rather than C1–C3, and will add iCloud sync of your library and backups when it's released. Reading, editing, the recipe library, backing up and restoring are free.

I bought Pro but the app says I haven't

Open the Profile tab and tap Restore purchases. Make sure you're signed in to the same Apple Account you bought it with. Pro is tied to your Apple Account, not to FujiSims, so there's nothing to sign in to in the app.

How do I cancel?

On your iPhone, open Settings → your name → Subscriptions → FujiSims, and tap Cancel Subscription. You can also get there from Manage subscription in the app's Profile tab. Pro stays active until the end of the period you've paid for. Cancelling the free trial before it ends means you won't be charged.

How do I get a refund?

Apple handles all payments, so refunds come from Apple. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.

What happens to my recipes if Pro ends?

Nothing is deleted. Your library and backups stay, recipes already on the camera stay, and you can still write to C1–C3 and restore any backup. Only writing to C4–C7 locks again.

Your data

Does FujiSims collect my data?

No. There are no accounts, no analytics and no tracking, and your recipes stay on your devices. Read the privacy policy for the details.

How do I delete my data?

Delete the app. Everything FujiSims stores is kept inside the app on your iPhone and is removed with it. If you've emailed us and want that deleted too, just ask.

FujiSims is an independent app, not made or supported by Fujifilm. For questions about your camera itself, contact Fujifilm.
